Simon & Garfunkel - The Sound of Silence - Madison Square Garden, NYC - ...

On October 30, 1967, Simon and Garfunkel played at Yale Bowl in New Haven and it was, beyond a doubt, one of the best concerts I have ever seen.  I can remember it was unusually warm for that time of year in Connecticut, and during "Sounds of Silence", it started to heat lightning with a very faint rumble of thunder. Thank goodness it never rained, but it just added to a magical evening that will stay in my memory forever.
