Day One

One of my first memories as a child was sitting on the front porch steps of my house on Grand Avenue watching the musicians go in and out of Harmony Music Store which to my complete and total pleasure was located almost directly across the street.  To risk dating myself, these were the days of Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Dean Martin and Doris Day.... of course, like so many healthy females at that time my first love was Elvis.  I was five. 

Since those early days,  music has always been and will continue to be a huge part of my life and who I am today.  I  wanted to start this blog to have a place to talk about and share some of the music of my life.  I hope you enjoy it!  I look forward to hearing from you.
