POCO

I saw Poco at Yale University in the late 60's, I think it was in the Yale Commons.  At the time I know the band consisted of Richie Furay and Jimmy Messina, but I am not sure if Timothy B. Schmit was in it then, or came later. This was a very young Poco, just morphing out of Buffalo Springfield.  Such a great concert...if anyone remembers anything about this I would love to hear from you!

  1. It was 9/19/70. Part of what was called Yale Disorientation. I was up at UConn for freshman orientation and my buddies and I hitched home to New Haven for the show. Jimi Hendrix had died the day before and people were very bummed. That concert served to uplift everyones spirits as only Poco could. Great night it was!!
